LNG carrier uses boil off gas as driving force of main boiler during it's operation and steam generated by boiler is used for main driving force and running a generator. However, temperature of the happened natural gas is not enough to be heat source, so that the gas need to be heated by an equipment, which is called gas heater. when NG gas gets decreased thanks to carrier's voyage in cold area or high-speed operation, it is necessary to install LNG vaporizer to increase amount of NG gas by compulsory vaporization of LNG for boiler's proper operation, and S.W. heating type can be used in case of LNG-RV. Normally, U-tube type is used for LNG Vaporizer to smooth sharp thermal expansion occurring by wide thermal difference between heating and heated fluids, and ferrule is inserted to block direct contact with fluids, thus to prevent damage of welded part by thermal expansion. What's more, we use heat transfer promoter to increase thermal efficiency on tube inside and provide overall system including spray nozzle for temp. control, demister, control valve for low temp. and control panel which we manufacture under agreement with MES in Japan.
